Do you own an original AdrenaLinn but wish you had an AdrenaLinn II? You'll be pleased to know that you can convert your unit to an AdrenaLinn II by purchasing our upgrade kit, available only here on our web site (not in stores). This kit includes our improved version 2.1 software, containing brighter, more accurate amp models as well as other useful additions.

This kit requires that you open up your AdrenaLinn, remove the PC board, replace two chips in sockets, and also replace the front panel adhesive label with a new indigo AdrenaLinn II adhesive label (see instructions). Once upgraded, your AdrenaLinn will be functionally identical to an AdrenaLinn II except that the colors will be light and dark indigo instead of the new AdrenaLinn II yellow and black.

Note: Installing this upgrade will erase your user presets and drumbeats, replacing them with copies of the new AdrenaLinn II factory presets and drumbeats. Also, the file formats for AdrenaLinn 1 and 2 are different, so you cannot save your AdrenaLinn 1 user presets and drumbeats over MIDI then reload them into your upgraded AdrenaLinn II.

Note: if your AdrenaLinn is an earlier unit without a headphone jack, this upgrade will not add the headphone jack.
