AdrenaLinn III Upgrade Kit

If you own an AdrenaLinn or AdrenaLinn II, you can purchase our AdrenaLinn III Upgrade Kit to convert it into a fully-functional AdrenaLinn III, 100% identical to new units.

The upgrade kit includes:

1. Two user-installable chips containing the new system software, with chip removal tool to remove old chips.
2. A new adhesive front panel label. (Order either light blue for black chassis units or indigo-blue for indigo-blue chassis units. Other combinations don't look very good.)

The upgrade requires that you open up your AdrenaLinn, remove the PC board, replace two chips in sockets with the included tool, then replace the front panel adhesive label with the new AdrenaLinn III adhesive label. (See installation instructions for details.) Most of our customers do it themselves but if you don't feel comfortable, any electronic service shop or techy friend should find it a simple procedure.

Note: If you have an earlier AdrenaLinn without headphone jack, this upgrade will not add the headphone jack.

Note: Because all user presets and drumbeats are stored on the chips you will replace, performing this upgrade will replace all user data with new AdrenaLinn III presets and drumbeats. If you wish to move any of your user presets or drumbeats over to AdrenaLinn III, this can only be done from AdrenaLinn II but not from the original AdrenaLinn model. (Sorry.) The conversion of AdrenaLinn II user data is done by the free demo version of the AdrenaLinn III Editor by SoundTower. To do the conversion:
1. Download the free demo version of the AdrenaLinn III Editor from www.soundtower.com.
2. Transfer any presets or drumbeat you wish to keep from your AdrenaLinn II over MIDI to the editor and do the conversion to AdrenaLinn III format.
3. Perform the upgrade of your AdrenaLinn II to AdrenaLinn III.
4. Transfer your converted presets or drumbeats from the editor over MIDI to your new AdrenaLinn III.
