Download and Install the 14-day trial of AdrenaLinn Sync

Here are instructions for downloading and installing the 14-day trial of AdrenaLinn Sync, available at this time only for Intel-based Macs running OS X 10.4 or higher, in a single file that supports VST, AU and RTAS formats. All features work for 14 days. If you like it and decide to purchase an unlock code, all you'll need to do is enter the unlock code; there's no need to download and install it again.

Installing AdrenaLinn Sync for the first time (latest version v1.0.2)

1) AdrenaLinn Sync requires that you first download and install a small (10 megabyte) program called Pluggo Runtime from Cycling '74. (If you already have either Pluggo 3.6.1 or Pluggo Runtime 3.6.1 installed, you can skip to step 2.) Click here to download and install Pluggo Runtime.

Note: Unfortunately, Pluggo doesn't work correctly with Cubase, or with Ableton Live if the new Max For Live option is installed, so these users won't be able to run AdrenaLinn Sync. We're working on a non-Pluggo version of AdrenaLinn Sync for both Mac and Windows, which will be a free upgrade for anyone who purchased the current Pluggo version, but we don't expect it to be ready until March of 2010.

2) Click here to download the AdrenaLinn Sync installer. Once it finishes downloading, the installer will automatically open and guide you through the steps to install it.

3) In your Applications folder, double-click the newly-installed application AudioUnit Scan. This will insure that AdrenaLinn Sync shows up in your AU plug-ins list.

4) That's it. Start up your DAW and you should see AdrenaLinn Sync in your lists of VST, AU and (if on Pro Tools) RTAS plug-ins. The demo will run for 14 days, then you'll need to purchase an unlock code from our online store in order to continue using it.

Updating an earlier version of AdrenaLinn Sync to the latest version (1.0.2)

To check which version of AdrenaLinn Sync you have installed, look at the AdrenaLinn Sync control panel from inside your DAW. The version number appears in the middle of the right side. If you already have AdrenaLinn Sync installed and only need to update to the latest version:

1) Click here to download AdrenaLinn Sync v1.0.x.vst.zip, which OS X should automatically uncompress to the file AdrenaLinn Sync.vst. Copy AdrenaLinn Sync.vst to the following directory, overwriting the earlier version of the same-named file:

/Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Pluggo/

2) In your Applications folder, double-click the application AudioUnit Scan. This will insure that AdrenaLinn Sync shows up in your AU plug-ins list.

3) Open AdrenaLinn Sync from inside your DAW and check the version number to make sure it updated correctly. The version number appears in the middle of the right side of the AdrenaLinn Sync control panel.
