Version 2.1 Software Update

As of May 1, 2005, we've released a software update, version 2.1, for the AdrenaLinn II.

The most significant feature of this update is that the amp models have been improved to be brighter and more accurate representations of the original amps. Click here to see all the new features. The update also includes new factory presets that have been tweaked to sound better with v2.1's improved amp models, and new & improved drumbeats with more emphasis on rock and pop grooves and less dance beats. Note: To check if you already have version 2.1, do the following: While holding down the UP ARROW key, connect power. The display should show "P20", indicating your AdrenaLinn is running the original shipping software version 2.0. If it shows "212", you've already got the latest 2.1 software.

Note: We had hoped to make this a free download that could update your AdrenaLinn II over MIDI from your computer. However, we found a software bug in the original 2.0 software that can result in a MIDI update DISABLING your AdrenaLinn II in about 5% to 10% of cases. So you should upgrade by purchasing the 2.1 update on chips from our online store. However, if you have an AdrenaLinn II (not the original AdrenaLinn) running version 2.0 software and you want to take a chance and try the free download, and you agree to buy the normal update package if the MIDI update process disables your AdrenaLinn II, and you don't have a important session or gig coming up, click here to go to the free download/install instructions page.
